our story

Hi, and welcome to Cedar Farm Candle Company. Iā€™m Mary, the founder and creator of CFC Co. We are a small, family owned business located on the south shore of Boston.

In 2022 I made a career change. I left an extremely creative industry where, for over 20 years, I had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented artists in our field. I loved my new job, but missed being in a creative space.

Later that year, while shopping for holiday gifts for my new colleagues, I was disturbed to learn of the chemicals and toxins contained in many of the mass produced commercially available candles.

I went to a yoga workshop to ring in New Years 2023. There, scented oils were paired with each of the New England seasons. In that peace, surrounded by warm candlelight, and filled with memories of seasons past, the idea for Cedar Farm was born.

These experiences will always guide Cedar Farm. I am committed to creating an aesthetically beautiful candle that brings warmth and joy. Every detail is considered to ensure that our candles burn clean and toxin free in your home. Each scent is carefully blended, and inspired by the natural beauty of the New England seasons.

Thank you for supporting our small local business, and for being a part of this incredible journey. I am so grateful that you are here!
