Hi, and welcome to Cedar Farm Candle Co. I’m Mary, the founder and creator behind every candle we pour. We’re a small, family-owned business based on the South Shore of Boston, creating candles that are as intentional as they are beautiful.

In 2022, I made a career shift after spending over 20 years in an incredibly creative industry—one where I had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented artists in the field. While I loved my new role, I found myself missing that creative spark.

That holiday season, while shopping for gifts for my new coworkers, I was surprised to discover just how many mass-produced candles contained harmful toxins and unnecessary chemicals. It didn’t sit right with me.

Then, during a New Year’s yoga workshop, something clicked. The session paired essential oils with each New England season, and in that quiet, candlelit space—surrounded by warmth, intention, and memories—the idea for Cedar Farm was born.

That moment continues to guide everything we do. Every Cedar Farm candle is thoughtfully crafted to be clean-burning, toxin-free, and inspired by the beauty of the natural world—especially the shifting seasons of New England. Each scent is blended with care, and every detail is designed to bring warmth, calm, and joy into your space.
